que-Vi – Business Satellite Access Service

The que-Vi satellite access service is a point-to-multipoint access service that provides a dedicated two-way communication circuit from an on-premise earth station at the customer site to the Teleport facility in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands. Interconnection from the remote site to the Teleport is via Telesat Telstar 11N satellite. From the teleport the access circuit is connected to a 1st Tier internet backbone.

The que-Vi satellite network solution is a star-network that provides internet from any location in West Africa directly to the Teleport in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands. Customer Head Office networks can be integrated to the remote office through secure VLAN configuration.

Satellite Coverage

T11N provides Linear Ku-Band satellite communication services over Western-, Central and Southern Africa.

The satellite is positioned at 37.5° West longitude and is currently in service, since 2008 and has an expected service life of 15 years.

The que-Vi platform has been optimally designed to deliver maximum throughput with the smallest possible and most affordable VSAT remote site equipment.
