Dr. Dawie de Wet has over 30 years of experience in engineering, business and telecommunications. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Northwest University. Dawie is the CEO of Q-KON Africa and the leading architect of the Twoobii satellite platform.
Chief Financial Officer
Neill has 15 years experience in the banking sector and just over 22 years experience within the Q-KON Group which includes Q-KON Africa and the regional Namibia, Zambia, eSwatini and Mozambique subsidiaries. Neill is responsible for corporate finance, secretarial and HR matters as well as financial planning for major projects.
Executive: Contracts and Commercial at Q-Kon
Frank has been with Q-KON Africa for over 15 years acting in various projects, logistical and commercial roles. He is currently responsible for all commercial agreements for sourcing and delivery as well as the inbound and outbound logistic channels. Frank is also responsible for company operational, contractual and supplier engagements.

Riaan has 15 years of experience within Q-KON Africa and leads the Engineering and Service delivery teams and is currently enrolled for his Master’s Degree in Engineering. Under his leadership, the Q-KON team has implemented multiple satellite broadband services platforms and projects with the latest success being the 4th generation Twoobii Smart Satellite Services.

Hendrik has a wealth of experience in the IT and Telecommunications Industry spanning more than 40 years. For the last decade, he focused on delivering innovative satellite solutions to corporate and key customers as well as developing reseller channels for the services that Q-KON Africa’s customers require.

James has over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, of which 18 years were within different customer-facing roles within the Q-KON Group. James is passionate about the banking sector and has played an integral role in the successful completion of the Fixed Wireless Access Network across the African continent in the large banking sector. This enabled hundreds of people to obtain financial inclusion in cities and remote regions.
