Introduction
RMB Latitudes is an indoor-outdoor art experience aimed at celebrating the creative spirit, fostering new relationships, connecting artists and galleries to buyers and the public. Over 40 galleries and 250 artists bring their art to Shepstone Gardens, a magnificent three-acre property.
Visitors will be invited to discover and explore art in all corners of the unique venue, as they wander through marble halls, secret gardens and rooftop pavilions.
The Challenge
“New platforms such as RMB Latitudes are vitally important,” says Azu Nwagbogu, Founder and Director of African Artists’ Foundation (AAF), and curatorial advisor on RMB Latitudes 2023 International Galleries Programme. With the focus on connecting 250 artists to galleries and buyers it is critical to ensure reliable transactions even in this beautiful indoor-outdoor environment. Due to the lack of reliable 3G service RMB Latitudes had to find an alternative option to ensure reliable communication service for trading.
The Solution
RMB Latitudes contacted the Twoobii team to implement a Twoobii Smart satellite Service on the exhibition grounds for the duration of the event. RMB Latitudes also required a Q-KON field engineer to be present on-site to ensure 100% service uptime and network reliability.
The Q-KON team implemented a Twoobii satellite terminal to ensure trusted connectivity for each point-of-sale terminal. The Twoobii service is independent on any other local towers and infrastructure and provides a guaranteed service uptime for business-critical applications such as for the trading at art expo’s.
