Consultation
Q-KON conducts extensive research to understand the African market landscape and helps navigate the regulatory environment to ensure full compliance with regional requirements.
Site Acquisition
Q-KON qualifies suitable locations for Ground Gateway Terminals by ensuring required criteria are met for: coverage, line-of-sight, power and fibre infrastructure as well as security, by engaging in a comprehensive due diligence process before securing leases.
Design Phase
Once a potential location has been successfully qualified, Q-KON initiates a design phase that includes: Topographic surveys, Geotech surveys, high level designs, risk assessments and infrastructure designs that result in a comprehensive set of construction drawings.
Construction Phase
After the design phase Q-KON proceeds with the construction of the Ground Gateway Terminal according to the approved construction drawings. This is followed by the installation of the specified antennae and all ancillary equipment required, including access control and remote monitoring as required.
Operations and Maintenance
Once the Ground Gateway Terminal is fully operational Q-KON continues to perform all ongoing operational maintenance to ensure that the Ground Gateway Terminal is always at peak performance.
Support
Q-KON’s operations and support center operates 24/7 and monitors the Ground Gateway Terminal, proactively addressing any arising concerns ensuring that service availability SLAs are exceeded. Our professional support team is available to address any customer queries.
