What is coming for Satellite?
Faster, more bandwidth, lower cost – these general ICT drivers are equally applied in the satellite industry. Already using GEO HTS networks we are reaching 3G price points and with planned MEO networks will introduce satellite point-to-point links at fibre pricings and with lower latencies.
The 2017 NSR report predicts that by 2021 a total of 1.9Tbps capacity will be available on the global HTS networks, up from 0.5Tbps in 2017.

Maropeng Becomes a Cashless Environment
At Maropeng, home of The Cradle of Mankind, trading and business was compromised due to poor communication services which was made even worse since management was under pressure to move to a cash-less environment for improved security and control.

Mobile Satellite Support for Enduro Race – Lesotho
In the beginning of February, the Twoobii branded vehicle left on a 520km journey with our Mobile Satellite trailer to attend the Live Lesotho National Enduro Round 1 near Maseru. Round 1 forms part of the 8-event series which will continue throughout 2020.
Our Mobile Antenna Unit attended the National Enduro to provide assistance to race control with the recording of race results and offering free WiFi to our valued customers.
