Team Spotlight: Q-KON Successfully Migrated 2,150 Sites
Its is with great honour that we congratulate our Team and Field Partners with the successful completion of a huge migration project! Under the leadership of Mr Jonathan Mostert, Senior Project Manager at Q-KON, the 6 months migration project started in February 2024 and was completed by end July 2024 as the IS-28 Satellite reached end-of-life. Over 35 Field Teams participated in the migration, successfully relocating 2,150 ATMs and Point-of-Sale sites at a rate of 25 sites per day. The migration sites spanned from South Africa’s all four corners, all nine provinces, from remote rural areas to the metropolitans. The project also covered Namibia, Zambia, Eswatini, and Botswana.
By having such an excellent team on-board, the complexity of this project was managed seamless and effortless.
