In collaboration with an ICT Channel Partner, Q-KON provided a robust satellite connectivity solution for one of the world’s foremost Energy and Petrochemical companies. The project required a communications network capable of supporting operations in remote locations where conventional connectivity options—such as LTE, Fibre, or Microwave—were unreliable.
The challenge to provide reliable satellite back-up services is ideally suited for the Twoobii Smart Satellite Service, which offers reliable, high-availability broadband connectivity in off-grid environments with seamless integration with SD-WAN architecture.
The deployment focused on maintaining end-to-end network performance for voice and data applications running over an SD-WAN architecture. To assess suitability, the Twoobii service was implemented and evaluated for key performance metrics including availability, latency, and data throughput.
The results were highly successful. Testing confirmed that the Twoobii service supports efficient operation of a 10 Mbps SD-WAN service, even when accounting for encryption overheads. The network architecture, built using Fortinet SD-WAN, was verified to be fully compliant with the business application requirements of the Energy and Petrochemical Company.

As a critical component of network redundancy and resilience, SD-WAN over Satellite is effectively supported by Twoobii through the following strengths:
- Eliminates business continuity risks.
- Perfect pay-per-use Back-up Service to your SD WAN Solution.
- Uncapped with Priority Data Bundles.
- Quality of Service Features included.
- Proven integration with your SDWAN network.
